About Us

Governors' Balloon Safaris has been operating safe hot air balloon flights over the Mara since 1978. We have what is widely accepted as the best flight path in the Mara. Our pilots are the best in the business and our equipment is made in Australia specifically for Kenyan conditions.

The experience is magical - a flight drifting during the golden hour above the Mara, followed by a wonderful al fresco breakfast. We have a significant positive impact on conservation initiatives and community development and treasure the area in which we are privileged to operate.
